Which is why it should never get to that point. If it is managed carefully and wisely it won't. What else is there to say? Most churches should be giving more and that's the issue I think you're speaking to. I mean, if a pastor's salary dispute extends beyond the pastor and the church elders and spills over into the congregation, you run the risk of dividing the church.
